Vesture Apparel Interview

Today I had an interview with the Vesture Apparel CEO.

The brand are a bespoke brand based in the North East of England and run by Daniel Poveda Sharman

Vesture are massively focussed on the quality of their brand, products and designs. You pay a little, but for what you receive it is worth it. Daniel states,

“ Quality is key, it’s the reason our customers come back for more. Our tee’s have been said to be some of the best fitting by our loyal customers. When it comes down to the print we use only the newest high quality techniques that give the best possible finish to the t-shirt. These methods do cost significantly more than second rate methods, however our customers expect the best so we give them the best."

Vesture clearly wants nothing but superior apparel for their clientèle  something rare in a brand in this mass manufactured culture. They Recognise that "bespoke" is the unique trait of their company, and that mass production of the designs could damage that reputation. Vesture Apparel are staying small scale for the time being, however interest from organisations overseas, could see the brand go truly global.

The CEO is a self taught graphic designer, with knowledge of web design and photography editing. Daniel says that recently he hasn't purchased anything other than Vesture Apparel, however admits to wearing the odd high-street brand now and then.

Vesture Apparel came about on the back of the leading markets failure to be unique.

“I noticed just how generic and almost identical men’s printed tees had become. Despite my lack of knowledge in the production of garments at the time I decided to do my research and within a month I’d made my first ever tee. Vesture Apparel was born.”

Vesture Apparel are slowly releasing other products. They don’t just want to sell a tee, they want to sell the entire outfit. The brand are looking to launch cardigans, blazers, sweatshirts and maybe even jeans and chinos in the future. Its all go at the moment for Vesture.

"In 5 words -  Modern, Classy, Unique, Smart and Bespoke.”

They say patience is a virtue, and we are eagerly waiting to see what Vesture is going to do next…
